Remington 600 .222 Rem Bolt Action Carbine Shooter Grade

NO TRADES. Early manufacture Remington model 600 with a low 4 digit serial number in .222 Rem. Factory 18 inch barrel has an excellent bore. Shoots and functions A1. Wood stock appears to have well used original finish with no cracks. Original barrel vent rib is absent and it looks like the previous owner filled in the rib mounting holes with their own plug system. Bluing is good except for a small patch on the right exterior mid barrel, and right receiver behind the bolt handle. Rifle has the factory butt plate and the common plastic trigger guard “hernia” flex. Rifle shows some wear and tear but is priced accordingly. Lots of guys use these for custom builds - and the wood stocks are always in demand. Nice lightweight carbine for coyotes, a refinish, re-chamber it to .223, or build a custom gun with the action.
