Winchester Model 140, semi automatic 12ga, chambered in 2¾”, plugged to 2+1, two exchangeable chokes included (0.715" restriction: = modified for lead shot, = full for steel shot; 0.725" restriction: = skeet for lead shot, = modified for steel shot).
Barrel length is 28” with upgraded fiber optic front and steel mid bead.
Shiny bore, very good bluing, Walnut checkered pistol grip butt stock and forearm. Original recoil pad is OK. No cracks in the wood. Butt stock and forearm were totally disassembled and treated inside out with Tung oil (~10 applications) to permanently seal and protect the walnut(?) wood. Bolt handle came loose and was replaced and permanently attached (hot solder weld) by gunsmith. Maybe ~150 rounds through it.
Functions and cycles as it should, used exclusively for deer (rifled slug, SSG) and small game hunting (as evident by minor imperfections on the stock and barrel). Well taken care of and never had an issue. Has been sitting in the safe for years as I switched to rifle for hunting deer.
