I Paid $425 for a surefire m640df light, an identical one that I already have and once I received it , it was immediatelly obvious how screwed up the flash light was. It would turn on, flicker , and after 20 seconds or so of running fine it would become dimmer then a $10 flash light. constantly. Most times it would turn on and not be bright in the first place. I tried every battery combination possible. Putting a SF18650B /1500/ lumen battery into my original m640df and it would be bright as you'd expect it too be and when I put the same battery in the light he sold me it would be no brighter then any other generic $10 flashlight , then flickering until it gets even dimmer. Brand new 123a batteries same exact thing. I swap out the head of the flash light with the head of my original m640df and all these problems are immediately fixed . I put the head of the light he sold me on my original surefire m640df and the same exact problem occuries.
So dim it is insane. I've tried swapping out the rear tail cap, every combo possible. Same exact result. Upon raising these issues he just tells me too go warranty the flash light and he "fulfilled his duties". By Selling me a broken surefire light. It's a shame , at the time of buying this broken light from him he had/has 26 / 5 star reviews so I figured I would be fine . Boy was I wrong . Don't buy anything from him unless you want too get ripped off. I wouldn't be surprised if this light was broken before he sold it too me and he was hoping I wouldn't be able too tell the difference, too bad I have the exact same light, I bought brand new and have been using for the past 2 years. AVOID THIS SELLER it's not worth it. Learn from my mistake .
