Purchased a Vortex optic from this member. After noticing the rather poor image, I have sent the scope to Vortex Canada thinking that it may be broken. However, Vortex verified that the scope is counterfeit. I have notified the member, he denies any responsibility or knowledge and is not open to any talks of compensation. Will not clearly state the source of the scope, claiming that he "bought it with a warranty" and then that he "bought it from another member a year ago" and also that he "didn't see anything wrong with it."
Do not deal with this member. Even if he truly did not know, his approach to the situation is concerning.
