I traded and paid cash for a pre 64 Model 70 Winchester in 270 calibre.
The rifle arrived and the following issues were discovered.
It has been recently recheckered and done poorly, rear site ladder is from a Cooey.22, the lifter in the magazine is from a different Model 70, and the 2 screws that hold and fasten the stock to the barrel are not original.
The seller states he had no knowledge of any of these issue???????
To say I am disappointed would be an understatement.
