A rare working pair of First World War, broad-arrow marked Canadian or British military field glasses. The Binocular, Prismatic, No 3 Mk II were 6x24 Zeiss-style poro prisms, with individual eyecup focusing that still works and the rangefinding reticle still present and intact. Made in Leeds in 1918 and a veteran of the Canadian army's "last 100 days." When Canadian officers looked at Vimy Ridge, this is the type of binocular they used. A collectible and usable military antique. Located in East Saint John, NB; shipping available at cost.
