Rare Wm. McCririck (Scottish) Coach gun Circa 1830
William McCririck established his business as a gunsmith in 1800 in the coastal town of Irvine a Seagatefoot port in Ayrshire, Scotland, not far from the towns of Ayr and Kilmarnock. Picture #7 are barrel hallmarks
I purchased this gun in Warwick England in 1972. The tag on it said it was as follows “1830 Scottish built Messenger's Gun”. (out of my collection) This gun is fully functional.
