Austrian Lorenz Native Blanket Gun
Most likely this was cut down for a Blanket gun after or during the Civil War Austrian Lorenz. The Lorenz Rifle was a weapon of both the Union and Confederate Armies. The rifle still maintains the rear barrel band & sling mount (band held in place by a square nail). 75 cal. 16 ¼ barrel by 25 ½ overall. Brass triggers guard, barrel band and lock retaining plate. Asking $495 plus shipping.
