For this who don’t know the Stevens 334 is savage’s budget line , the accuracy rivals Gus 10x’s it’s price, the walnut Stock is just as perfect looking as far as you’ll want a wood stock to look . There is a downside, for me to give credibility to my praises to a budget rifle I have to be objective. The action is not as smooth as it’s pricier counterparts, totally usable with no feeding issue (it is mag fed ;)) , some will argue reliability, or should I say barrel life as it is a 243, well if you put in 10 practice shots than one for your deer , than you’re still good for 150 years .
Sold as a nice package with good Buschnell scope .
