In examining a rifle I bought advertised as "exellent" condition, I see wear marks on both sides of the action that look like the jaws of a vise, and wear around the circumference of the barrel nut, suggestive of someone having attempted to remove a barrel (its a Ruger American) or at the very least, having held the action between some type of mechanical jaws that marredt the finish on both sides of the receiver.
This was not mentioned in the ad or in conversation.
Straightforward and easy to deal with, all communications answered quickly and courteously. Item is just like he said it is, shipped when he said he would. I'd deal with him again no problem
